THE OPPORTUNITY

Cooke Aquaculture offered GarrandPartners the opportunity to create a whole new consumer concept – branded, fresh seafood. Consumer research uncovered one of the biggest worries people have about buying fish is freshness – which aligned with one of True North’s biggest advantages, salmon delivered to consumers up to a week faster than other suppliers. GarrandPartners created “True Maine” salmon and hit it out of the park by communicating to consumers, with one name, that the salmon they were choosing is local (fresher) and raised right (sustainable).

 

 

THE RESULTS

Based on the strength of the consumer proposition and campaign, True North Salmon is now available in supermarket chains across New England.
